Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has surpassed his compatriot, Burna Boy, as the artist with the most songs on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

Asake debuted nine songs from his new album ‘Lungu Boy’ on this week’s Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, extending his entries to 50.

His song ‘Active’ featuring American rapper Travis Scott is currently at the top of the chat.

The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart was launched in April 2022.

Since its launch, it has been dominated by Nigerian artists.
