Departing Manchester City playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne, has reached a verbal agreement with Napoli to join the Serie A champions this summer transfer window.
The 33-year-old midfielder will become a free agent this summer after Man City refused to give him a new deal to remain at Etihad.
De Bruyne has expressed his desire can still play at the top level in the game and has refused to rule out any possibility of signing for another Premier League club this summer.
De Bruyne has already received several offers from clubs like Chicago Fire, Aston Villa and others.
However, Sky Sport Italy is now reporting that De Bruyne has given his okay to Napoli to sign him ahead of other clubs.
The Belgian has also made it clear to the Serie A champions that he and his family are ready to move to Italy.
The report added that Antonio Conte’s side has not yet reached an agreement over a contract, but they are in pole position to land De Bruyne.
