Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman, has returned to light training at the Serie A club.

This comes days after he left the Super Eagles camp due to an injury scare.

Lookman played for Nigeria in their first 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny.

He was not on the score sheet as the Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw.

Lookman was not in camp by the time the three-time African champions lost 2-1 to Rwanda on Sunday.

It appears that the 27-year-old is now close to full fitness.

According to Calcio News24, Lookman returned to light training on Wednesday. This indicates that Lookman could return to full action very soon.

Atalanta’s next game is against Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Saturday.
