Afrobeats singer, Wizkid has broken records as all the songs from his new album, ‘Morayo’ are in the top 17 positions on Apple Music.

This achievement came in less than 10 hours after the release of the album.

The album, which was released today November 22, 2024, is a tribute to his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who died in August 2023.

Urban Express News Online Entertainment  reports that ‘Piece of My Heart’ a lead single from the album climbed No. 4 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and No. 7 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

Morayo also shattered Nigeria’s streaming records, with one of its singles amassing 1.57 million streams on Spotify on its opening day.
