Sevilla manager, Garcia Pimienta, has revealed Chidera Ejuke is set for a spell on the sidelines due to injury, Urban Express News Online  reports.

Ejuke sustained the injury in Sevilla’s 5-1 defeat to Barcelona on Sunday night.

The winger was replaced late in the first half by Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Pimienta confirmed after the game that the Nigeria international sustained a hamstring injury.

“Ejuke is injured, he has felt a twinge in his hamstring and we will see how long it lasts,” has told the club’s official website.

The 26-year-old has scored once goal in nine league outings for the Rojiblancos this season.
