Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has reacted to a viral slogan that he would serve one term in office.
Yusuf said he would spend one term with the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, and his second term would be in the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The governor was addressing a group in a video while responding to the Hausa ‘Falle Daya’ (One term) slogan against him.
He said, “Actually, it is only one term in the NNPP party. We will do the second term in the APC.

Before his defection, Yusuf had resigned from NNPP due to what he termed “deepening internal crises” and “prolonged leadership disputes.”
