Rangers’ striker, Cyriel Dessers, was excited to score his first Old Firm goal at the Ibrox, Urban Express News Online reports.
Dessers was on target in the Light Blues’ 1-1 draw against champions Celtic on Sunday.
The Nigerian international has so far registered 25 goals across all competitions for Barry Ferguson’s side this season.
The 30-year-old said scoring against Brendan Rodgers’ men in front of Rangers fans was an amazing feeling.
“To score an Old Firm goal at Ibrox is an unbelievable feeling. I scored one last season, but it got called off, so it was an amazing feeling,” he told the club’s official website.
“It was a beautiful team goal, we broke out with speed. I saw Diomande, he saw me, and then Vaclav had a nice stepover and read the situation well.”
