Manchester United have confirmed that left-back Harry Amass has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan.

In a post on transfer deadline day (Monday), the Red Devils disclosed that the move is the player’s first loan move away from Old Trafford.

Amass made his senior debut for United earlier this year, on his 18th birthday.

He played as a substitute in an away Premier League win at Leicester City.

Meanwhile, Manchester United also confirmed that their winger Jadon Sancho has joined Aston Villa on loan for the 2025/26 season.

Aston Villa will pay Sancho’s loan fee and 80 per cent of his wages during his time at Villa Park.

Sancho has entered the final year of his contract at United, with Ruben Amorim’s side having the option to extend for another year.
