Victor Osimhen loves life at Galatasaray and would like to continue to play his football there, according to his older brother, Patrick Osimhen.
The older brother of the Super Eagles striker was reacting to rumours surrounding the player’s future after he ended his season-long loan spell at Galatasaray.
There are rumours linking the striker with a permanent stay at Galatasaray.
Osimhen made his last appearance for the club last Friday when he helped them beat Basaksehir FK 2-0 and now fans await the decision on his next destination.
The Nigerian international is expected to return to Napoli before accepting offers from any club of his choice.
Galatasaray want the former Lille star and hope he considers sealing a permanent deal with them.
However, Beyaz Futbol pundit Agir quoted a conversation he had with Osimhen’s brother after the game on Friday.
He told Habersarikirmizi, “I spoke to Osimhen’s older brother, Patrick Andrew Osimhen. I asked, ‘Which team do you think Osimhen will go to?’
“He laughed and said, ‘I think he will stay here.’ I said, ‘Are you joking?’ He said, ‘He loves it here.’”
Galatasaray won a domestic double this season with the help of the Nigerian international.
He was also a fan favourite throughout his loan spell at the Turkish side.
