Olaleye Idowu

Everton are pushing to sign Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, Urban Express News reports.

The winger left Spanish Liga F club Atletico Madrid earlier this month following the expiration of her contract.

Ajibade has kept her options open and earlier stated that she will only decide on her future after the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The winger has reportedly received offers from clubs in America’s National Women’s Soccer League, NWSL.

Everton have now emerged as favourites to secure her services, according to Sports Boom.

A move to the Merseyside club will see her link up with international teammate Toni Payne.

The Toffees are also close to signing another Super Falcons star, Chiamaka Nnadozie
