Arsenal legend Thierry Henry hailed two Liverpool players after their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Recall that Liverpool defeated Inter Milan at San Siro thanks to Dominik Szoboszlai’s second-half penalty.
Speaking after the game, Henry showered special praise on Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, insisting that the duo were magnificent against the Serie A side.
“For me, it was not a penalty, but you still have to bury it, and Szoboszlai did that,” Henry said on CBS Sports.
“He’s been one of Liverpool’s best players this season, I have to say. He was magnificent, and Mac Allister was also very good.
“I liked the way Liverpool played, and how Arne Slot stopped Inter from playing; his tactics were on point.”
The victory leaves Liverpool in 8th position on the Champions League table 6 games.
