Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has named Liverpool as the Premier League club he wants his team to avoid in the Champions League knock-out stage.

Osimhen spoke to CBS Sports after leading Galatasaray to beat Juventus in the Champions League Round of 16 playoff second leg tie on Wednesday night.

Galatasaray had already beaten Liverpool in the league phase of the Champions League this season.

However, Osimhen believes the Reds will aim for a revenge mission against Galatasaray, adding that he https://urbanexpresslive.com/champions-league-play-off-checkout-8-teams-that-qualify-for-the-round-of-16/wants the Turkish Super League champions to avoid Arne Slot’s side.

Galatasaray will now play either Liverpool or Tottenham in the Champions League last-16 stage.

“I mean to be honest with you, meeting Liverpool now is going to be like some sort of revenge,” Osimhen said after Galatasaray defeated Juventus.

“Anyone we meet now… I wouldn’t say much, but I would like to escape Liverpool.

“But if they come, yeah, we are going to dig it out, but it’s not going to be easy.”
