Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has named Arsenal as the best team in Europe at the moment.
Carragher spoke after Arsenal defeated Bayern Munich 3-1 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at the Emirates Stadium.
Three goals from Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli gave the Gunners the victory against the Bundesliga giants.
Speaking after the game, Carragher said via CBS Sports: “Arsenal are the best team in Europe right now.
“The only thing that we said before the game, and we are saying it with Bayern, but we are saying it more with Arsenal, because they have just beaten them well, it’s whether they can still be the best team in Europe by May.
“There is a long way to go, but no one can get near them right now.”
Arsenal’s next game is against Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend.
