Ayra Starr reacts to report she isn’t allowed to have boyfriend, start family during contract with Roc Nation
Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, has reacted to claims that a clause in her recent five-year contract with Roc Nation barred her from having a boyfriend or starting a family during the duration of the contract.
Checks revealed Ayra Starr recently signed a five-year management deal with Roc Nation, which is owned by American music executive Sean Carter, aka Jay-Z.
Following the announcement, there were speculations in some sections of the media that a clause in the contract barred the 22-year-old from having a boyfriend or starting a family during the duration of the contract.
“Ayra Starr isn’t allowed to have a boyfriend or start a family during her five-year contract with Roc Nation,” a podcaster claimed in a video making the rounds on X.
Reacting to the video, Ayra Starr wrote, “Does Ayra Starr know about this?”
The singer also reposted a tweet which reads, “They lie on top of your head for broad daylight,” confirming that the report was fake.
