United States of America House of Representatives Speaker, Mike Johnson has revealed his guest list during President Donald Trump’s Tuesday night address at the joint session of Congress.
According to Johnson, border security will be a major subject of discussion in Trump’s address.
Fox News reports that Johnson’s partial list of guests for the prime-time speech will include Tom Homan, the former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement director, who Trump has tapped to serve as his border czar.
Similarly, Johnson invited Olivia Hayes, a young widow from his district who lives in Kinder, Louisiana.
It would be recalled Olivia’s husband, Wesley Hayes, was killed by an illegal immigrant in a drunken-driving incident, Joshon’s office noted.
The speaker’s office said a Republican priority front, Commonwealth LNG Chair Ben Dell, will also be one of Johnson’s guests on Tuesday night.
Recall that the Commonwealth LNG project was the first major beneficiary of the Trump administration’s reversal of former President Joe Biden’s pause on new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export permits.
The development comes as energy price cuts have been a top issue for Republicans.
To this end, Energy Secretary Chris Wright last month announced the permit for the Commonwealth LNG project.
