Kamala Harris, former Vice President of the United States of America, has backed the ongoing protest by Americans against President Donald Trump and his billionaire ally, Elon Musk.

Harris, who was defeated by Trump in the 2024 election, in a statement on her X account, lauded the American people for standing up against Trump’s administration’s policy implementation.

According to her, the voices of the people would be louder than the ‘unelected billionaires.’

“Today in every state across our nation, Americans are standing up to the administration as they implement Project 2025 at full speed.

“Thank you for using your voices and the power of protest to stand for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid; for the Department of Education and programmes like Head Start; for clean air and water; and for the right to make decisions about your own body without government interference.

“The voices of working people will always be louder than the unelected billionaires,” she wrote.

Urban Express News Online reports that thousands of protesters gathered in the streets of the US on April 5, 2025, against Trump’s administration and sweeping policy interventions, including cuts in the cost of governance.

Meanwhile, in a statement, the White House said that Americans Are Already Seeing the early Results of the Trump Administration

Urban Express News Online reports that the Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk in the past weeks, has carried out several probes into government spending across the education department, health, USAID, defence, and other sectors.
