President Joe Biden has said Hamas will surely pay for killing an American hostage, Hersh Goldberg-Polin.
Biden stated this while reacting to Goldberg-Polin’s death, saying he is devastated and outraged by the news.
Urban Express News Online reports that IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari had in a statement announced that Goldberg-Polin and five other hostages were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists shortly before they could reach them.
Fox News reports that his body was recovered Saturday in the tunnels under Rafah, along with five other hostages, after being killed by Hamas.
Goldberg-Polin’s family and friends his death traveled the world demanding his release. They also met with world leaders, including officials in the Biden administration.
Following his death, Biden said Hamas leaders will pay for the crimes, adding that his administration will keep working round the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages.
“It is as tragic as it is reprehensible,” Biden said.
“Make no mistake, Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. And we will keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages.”
Vice President Kamala Harris said her prayers are with Goldberg-Polin’s loved ones as they mourn his loss.
Kamala said that Hamas is an evil terrorist organization.
