Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has admitted that Arsenal has strength at set-pieces.
However, Enrique has insisted his team will not have a special plan to nullify it.
According to the Spaniard, they will “prepare the same way” they would when facing any team in Ligue 1.
Arsenal’s threat from corners and free-kicks has proved a huge weapon over the past two seasons and set-piece coach Nicolas Jover has been widely credited with transforming the club’s fortunes in this area.
And Mikel Arteta will no doubt be hoping for more of the same when they take on PSG in the Champions League semi-final first next week.
“We will prepare in the same way as we did against Liverpool,” Enrique said when asked about Arsenal’s set-piece threat at a press conference today.
“Liverpool are a team that has at least as much potential as Arsenal, if not more.
“We will not prepare our team based on this aspect of the game in particular.
“But it is obvious that we must be competitive everywhere.”
