Nigeria forward, Paul Onuachu, has arrived in Turkey ahead of his permanent transfer to Trabzonspor, Urban Express News Online reports.
The Nigerian international got an heroic welcome upon his arrival at the Trabzonspor International Airport on Wednesday night.
Onuachu’s permanent transfer to the Black Sea Storm is expected to be made official on Thursday (today).
Southampton announced last Friday that it has reached an agreement with Trabzonspor for the player’s transfer.
The 31-year-old is returning to familiar territory after impressing on loan at Trabzonspor during the 2023/24 season.
Onuachu scored 17 goals in 25 appearances during that spell.
He will become the club’s second signing of the summer following Joaquin Pina’s arrival.
