Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim set an unwanted Premier League record on Sunday following the team’s 1-0 loss to Arsenal.
Riccardo Calafiori’s header ensured the visitors left Old Trafford with all three points.
Although United looked much better than they did last season, the defeat means Amorim has again entered the record books for the wrong reasons.
According to OptaJoe, Amorim has now lost 15 of his 28 Premier League games (with seven wins and six draws).
This is the fastest a manager has reached that many defeats in the competition, without taking charge of a newly promoted club in that period, since Paul Hart with Portsmouth in 2009 (27 games).
Since the start of the 2023/2024 season, the Red Devils have conceded the most goals from corners (23), whereas Arsenal have notched the most (31).
