Ademola Lookman has talked up Atalanta’s UEFA Champions League victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
La Dea thrashed their hosts 3-0 at the Deutsche Bank Park on Wednesday night.
It was the first win under new coach Raffaele Palladino, who had only made his debut at the weekend in a 3-1 loss to Napoli after replacing Ivan Juric.
Lookman scored and also registered an assist in the game.
The Nigerian international opened the scoring on the hour mark, latching on to a precise cross from Charles De Ketelaere.
The winger set up Ederson in the first few minutes.
Atalanta moved to 10th position on the standings following the comfortable victory.
Lookman reflected on his team’s performance after the game.
“It’s a big performance for the team. It’s a good victory away from home,” Lookman told UEFA’s official website.
“In the first half, we had a few chances, and coming out in the second half, we knew we had to create chances again.”
