A former Senator, Dino Melaye, has claimed that the Founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, forcefully retired Bishop David Abioye, who was his vice-president.
In October this year, the church revised the retirement age from 60 to 55.
At the time, Abioye was 63 while the second vice-president Bishop Thomas Aremu was 67.
Melaye, in a post on X on Sunday, claimed he did not attend Shiloh 2024 at Canaanland, because it won’t be the same without Abioye.
He wrote: “I did not attend Shiloh 2024. Because Shiloh without Bishop Abioye is somehow.
“I can’t understand why Bishop Oyedepo, who is older, is not retired, and it is Bishop Abioye who is younger that should be forcefully retired.
“God did not retire Abioye, only Oyedepo did. Let’s watch..”
