Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane, has a release clause in his contract, according to BILD.
The 31-year-old signed for the Bundesliga champions after leaving his boyhood club Tottenham in 2023.
The move seemingly ended Kane’s chances of surpassing Alan Shearer’s Premier League record of 260 goals.
However, it has now been revealed there is a release clause within the deal that could open the door for a return to England.
Kane could have triggered a release clause in the January transfer window that would have allowed him to leave for around €80 million, £67m.
That deadline has now passed but it will be valid again next January and if Kane were to trigger it he could move to another club for just €65m, £54m.
Kane is under contract at Bayern until June 2027 and is currently happy in Germany.
He is thriving on the pitch and has settled in the country with his young family.
Kane is 47 goals behind Alan Shearer’s goal-scoring record and could be tempted to go back to the Premier League to try to beat it
