The results of Boxing Day (Friday) 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, matches are out.Urban Express News reports that Egypt defeated South Africa 1-0 in Group B,  thanks to Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah’s only goal of the encounter.Also in Group B, Angola and Zimbabwe played a 1-1 draw to remain in third and fourth positions in the standings.Similarly, in Group A, host nation Morocco drew 1-1 with Mali, thanks to goals from Brahim Diaz and Lassine Sinayoko.Zambia played a 0-0 draw with Comoros in Group A to remain in third and fourth positions on the log.Meanwhile, more AFCON fixtures will be played today, Saturday, as the Benin Republic will face Botswana in an early kick-off in the afternoon.Later in the evening, Senegal will tackle DR Congo, while Uganda will clash with Tanzania.On Saturday night, Nigeria will take on Tunisia in a Group C fixture at the Fez Stadium in Fes.
