Urban Express News Sport brings you the results of all the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying fixtures played on Thursday.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles failed to beat Benin Republic on in their fifth match in Group D.

Austin Eguavoen’s side played a 1-1 draw with Benin in Abidjan, thanks to Victor Osimhen’s equalizer in the second half.

In another fixture played on Thursday, Senegal defeated Burkina Faso 1-0, while Niger thrashed Sudan 4-0.

Here is full results of AFCON 2025 qualifiers played on Thursday:

Benin Republic 1-1 Nigeria

Burkina Faso 0-1 Senegal

Niger 4-0 Sudan

Madagascar 2-3 Tunisia

Rwanda 0-1 Libya

Burundi 0-0 Malawi

South Sudan 3-2 Congo

Lesotho 1-0 CAR

Equatorial Guinea 0-0 Algeria

Meanwhile, more AFCON qualifiers will take place today (Friday).

Cape Verde will host Egypt, Uganda will tackle South Africa, Mozambique will clash with Mali, while Botswana will face Mauritania.
