Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has said he doesn’t want the Citizens to face Barcelona in the Champions League this season.
According to the Spaniard, the ‘love and affection’ he has for the Catalan club destroys him.
Guardiola was a former manager of Barcelona in the past.
He won several trophies, including the Champions League and the LaLiga titles during his time at the Blaugrana.
“I hope not to face Barça in the Champions League,” Guardiola was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying.
“The love and affection I have for Barça destroys me.
“I was lucky and happy in Barcelona, it’s the team of my heart.”
