Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has hailed youngster, Toby Collyer ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Southampton on Thursday.
Amorim said the 21-year-old has a lot of pace and trains really well.
Collyer made a rare appearance in Man United’s FA Cup triumph over Arsenal last Sunday.
He featured for 39 minutes as Amorim’s side won on penalties.
“Toby is training well,” Amorim said at his pre-match press conference.
“He has a lot of pace, he likes to learn so it’s one more option for tomorrow.”
Collyer joined Man United’s academy from Brighton in 2022.
He has only made four first-team appearances for United to date.
But Collyer now looks set to get more playing time under Amorim.
