Alex Iwobi will look to set a new assist record by a Nigerian in the English Premier League when Fulham take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday (today).

Iwobi entered the history books as the Nigerian with the most assists in the English top-flight after setting up Emile Smith Rowe’s second goal in Fulham’s win over Newcastle United last weekend.

The record was previously held by former Arsenal forward, Kanu Nwankwo, who registered 29 assists.

Iwobi, who has amassed 30 assists have another chance to increase his haul.

Nottingham Forest are expected to parade Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi in the encounter.

Forest defeated Fulham at the City Ground 3-1 last season.
