Former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has criticized Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, over his handling of Jadon Sancho.
Sancho has joined Chelsea on a season-long loan this summer, with the Blues having an obligation to buy him next year.
The England winger spent half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, having fallen out with Ten Hag
However, he was reintegrated back into the first-team group this summer.
A deadline day switch to Chelsea, though, looks to have ended his time at Old Trafford.
And Klopp believes Ten Hag should have been shown far more support before he was sold.
“If the whole world loses trust and faith in the player, the manager has to be the one behind the player,” Klopp said.
“I cannot just buy into that ‘he’s useless,’ like other clubs did by the way – buying a player for £80 million and then sending him out on loan!”
