Chelsea winger, Jadon Sancho has urged his teammates to be ‘more clinical’ in front of goal.
Sancho made the demand following Chelsea’s Premier League 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend.
The England star provided Cole Palmer with the assist for Chelsea’s goal against Crystal Palace in the first half at Selhurst Park.
After Palmer’s goal, the Blues then missed several opportunities to extend their advantage before Palace levelled late on through Jean-Phillipe Mateta.
Speaking after the game, Sancho said it was frustrating for Enzo Maresca’s side not to get three points against their hosts.
“It’s frustrating not to get the three points,” Sancho said as quoted by Chelsea’s website after the game.
“We played quite well and I feel like we controlled most of the game. One mistake cost us a goal.
“Other than that, we have to be more clinical in front of goal. We created so many chances and it’s frustrating not to get another goal to kill the game.”
Sancho is currently on loan at Chelsea from Premier League rivals Manchester United.
