Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said Erling Haaland is not proud of his actions following their 2-2 with Arsenal last Sunday.
After the full-time whistle, tempers flared over with Haaland telling Gunners boss Mikel Arteta to “stay humble”.
The Norway striker was then picked up by cameras throwing the ball at Gabriel after Stones’ equaliser.
Guardiola, speaking to reporters, has claimed it was the “emotions” of the game.
He said: “The emotions are the emotions.
“So I’m sure he’s not proud of what he did, but listen, in the type of challenge that Arsenal challenged us, I understand it.”
