Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has vowed to bounce back stronger from his injury setback, Urban Express News Online reports.
Aina went under the knife on Tuesday after sustaining a hamstring injury while on international duty last week.
The 28-year-old will be sidelined for three months.
The versatile full-back is looking forward to returning to the pitch once again.
“I will be working hard every day to get back out there as soon as possible, and can’t wait to get back on the pitch at the City Ground. See you soon,” he wrote on Instagram.
Aina hopes to return to action in time before the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Morocco in December.
