Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, has advised manager, Arne Slot, to drop Cody Gakpo and play Rio Ngumoha after the team’s 2-1 defeat to Wolves in the Premier League on Tuesday night.Mohamed Salah’s second-half goal was not enough as Wolves defeated the Reds at Molineux.Gakpo started on Liverpool’s left flank, but Gerrard believes Ngumoha, who came on as a substitute against Wolves, should now replace the Netherlands international in Slot’s starting XI in Liverpool’s next game.Speaking on TNT Sports, Gerrard expressed his displeasure overGakpo’s display against Wolves.“He has to start Ngumoha now.
