Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Vitor Pereira was left satisfied with Tolu Arokodare’s performance against Newcastle United, Urban Express News reports.
The Nigerian international made his Premier League debut for Wolves in the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.
Arokodare, who had only one training session with the visitors before the game, was named in the starting line-up by Pereira.
The 24-year-old was in action for 66 minutes before he was replaced by Jhon Arias.
The striker failed to make much impact in the game but did enough to earn plaudits from the gaffer.
“He (Arokodare) did well, of course, he is not in the physical condition to do better,” Pereira told the club’s official website.
