Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has named three clubs that could ‘spoil’ Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge this season.
Arsenal are currently eight points behind leaders Liverpool in the Premier League table.
Mikel Arteta’s side, however, have a game in hand, having played 25 matches.
But Sherwood believes the likes of Chelsea, West Ham United, and Fulham could hinder Arsenal’s title challenge this season.
“I think if you look at it, Liverpool have got four home games out of the next six, and Anfield is a fortress,” Sherwood told Premier League Productions.
He added, “I look at Arsenal’s fixtures, and their home games are London derbies.
“Chelsea, West Ham [United], and Fulham will want to spoil Arsenal’s season. They won’t want Arsenal to win the league.”
Arsenal will take on West Ham United in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
They are ahead of Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, Bournemouth, and Manchester City on the log.
The Gunners have finished in second place twice in the last two seasons behind champions Manchester City.
