FC Porto defender, Zaidu Sanusi is set to return to action for the Portuguese club, following a 10-month injury layoff.

The left-back is in Porto’s 26-man squad for tonight’s UEFA Europa League clash with Belgian Pro League outfit, Anderlecht.

Sanusi’s last appearance for the Dragons was against CF Estrela in February.

The 27-year-old sustained a cruciate ligament injury in the game following his return from international duty.

The Nigerian made two appearances for Porto’s B team last month as he stepped up recovery from the injury.

Porto has endured a poor start to their Europa League campaign with four points from four games.

The Dragons currently occupy 22nd position on the overall standings.
