Former Minister of Sports and Youths Development, Solomon Dalung, has said he is not proud of the primary election that produced former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.https://urbanexpresslive.com/ucl-youre-weak-for-covering-your-mouth-with-a-shirt-vinicius-slams-prestianni-over-racist-comment/

Dalung made this remark during an interview on a podcast hosted by Seun Okinbaloye.

He was reacting to the presidential primary election of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

According to him, the coalition is not dead, stressing that it is not as formidable as it was in preparation for the 2027 general elections. https://urbanexpresslive.com/afcon-what-eric-chelle-said-regarding-three-players-that-impressed-him/

“I’m not proud of the presidential primary that produced Atiku Abubakar because it fell below my expectations. But, of course, that is what we have now, and it is not good enough because I expected that we in the ADC would have done much better than this.

“I was an electoral officer; I witnessed some of these things that happened, and, of course, we should have outgrown them by this stage.

“After 26–27 years of democracy, we should not be talking about rigging of primaries or falsification of results,” he said.

Recall that the ADC recently conducted its primary election, producing Atiku as its candidate and flag bearer.
