The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, says former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar wants to use Peter Obi to secure votes and become President on a flawed template that will damage the fragile unity of Nigeria.In a post on his verified X handle on Thursday, Keyamo said Obi is supporting the move for selfish reasons, throwing the entire country under the bus for a vice-presidential ticket.The minister said he sympathises with Obi’s supporters who, according to him, are being led into a dead end by wily, old war horses in politics.“Atiku wants to camouflage with Peter Obi and surreptitiously secure his votes and become President on a flawed template that will damage our fragile unity as a nation. And Peter Obi is supporting this contraption for selfish reasons – throwing the entire country under the bus for a mess of pottage called a VP ticket. He will soon learn the hard way.“Commiserations to the naive Obi supporters who are being led into a dead end by wily, old warhorses in politics. They will all come back to thank us later after the disaster to which they are all heading,” he said.
