Armed bandits launched attacks on two communities in Katsina State, killing two people, abducting 15 others, and rustling a large number of livestock.

The first attack occurred in Unguwar Fadi, where gunmen stormed the community at night, killing two residents before whisking away 15 people.

In another attack, the assailants raided the Yargoje community, carting away an unspecified number of cattle and other livestock.

A security analyst, Bakatsine, disclosed the incidents on Sunday via a post on X (formerly Twitter).

He said, “Yesterday night, bandits attacked the Unguwar Fadi community, where they killed two people and abducted 15 people.

“In a similar vein, they raided Yargoje community, where they rustled many cattle and livestock.”
