Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has included several youngsters in the squad that travelled for their Premier League clash at Tottenham Hotspur.

Amorim is dealing with injuries to key players including Amad Diallo, Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo.

Diallo, who has been one of United’s standout performers under Amorim, could now miss the rest of the season after injuring his ankle ligaments.

Lisandro Martinez has also been ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a cruciate ligament injury.

It has left Amorim short of options and according to The Academy Scoop, Chido Obi, Sekou Kone, Jack Moorhouse, Harry Amass and Elyh Harrison have all travelled with the first-team squad this weekend.

Chido Obi, 17, who joined from Arsenal in October, has hit the ground running, scoring 12 goals in 12 appearances at youth level.

When asked about Chido Obi in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Amorim replied: “I don’t want to say names”.

Kone, a 19-year-old defensive midfielder who was signed from Malian side Guidars FC last August, has also impressed for United’s academy sides and is yet to make a first-team appearance.
