How Cleric Owolabi Gave Succor, Provides Shelter for Bereaved Widow

A Servant of God popularly known as Evangelist Victor Owolabi and fondly called the “God of 1930,” has once again demonstrated the love and compassion of Christ through an extraordinary act of kindness.

The leader of Christ Apostolic Church, House of God Province, has rebuilt the home of Iya Shifau, a widow who lost five of her seven children mysteriously.

This life-changing gesture comes as a beacon of hope to Iya Shifau, a resident of Shao in Kwara State, who has endured unimaginable grief and loss.

The tragedy left her emotionally shattered and living in dire conditions. Evangelist Owolabi, moved by her plight, stepped in to restore not only her home but also her faith and hope for a brighter future.

The rebuilt house was handed over to Iya Shifau in a heartfelt ceremony that witnessed tears of joy and prayers of gratitude. Speaking about his motivation, Evangelist Owolabi said:

“Our God is a God of restoration. When I heard of Iya Shifau’s story, I was deeply moved by her pain. This home represents a fresh start and a reminder that even in the darkest moments, God’s light shines through. It is our duty as God’s children to comfort and uplift those in need.”

The act has brought immense joy to the community of Shao, with residents praising the man of God for his unwavering commitment to helping the less fortunate and providing comfort to those in need.

Iya Shifau, overwhelmed with gratitude, expressed her heartfelt thanks: “I thought my life had ended after losing my children and living in despair, but Evangelist Owolabi showed me that God has not forgotten me. This house is a miracle, and I pray that God continues to bless him and his ministry.”

This is yet another demonstration of the impactful ministry of Christ Apostolic Church, House of God Province, under the leadership of Evangelist Owolabi. Known for miraculous healings, deliverance, and acts of generosity, the ministry continues to bring hope and restoration to countless lives.
