Nigeria defender, Zaidu Sanusi, has been included in FC Porto’s squad for the inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, Urban Express News Online reports.
Sanusi barely featured for the Dragons last season following a cruciate ligament injury, which sidelined him for around eight months.
The 27-year-old has been tipped to leave the Portuguese club this summer in search of more regular playing time.
The left-back will hope to impress suitors at the Club World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States of America, USA.
Sanusi has two years left on his contract with Porto.
The former Portuguese champions will face Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami, Palmeiras of Brazil and Egypt’s Al Hilal in the group stage.
