Famous Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, better known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has revealed that his only brother just donated one kidney to him.

TG Omori made this known on Tuesday while opening up on his health challenges.

In a now trending post on his official X, TG Omori said the kidney transplant took place on Monday, August 26, 2024.

“Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” he wrote.

Also taking to his Instagram story, the music director shared pictures of himself on a hospital bed receiving oxygen.

Captioning the pictures, he wrote: “keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”

The music director had been away from the public for some time and his absence has caused a lot of concern among fans.
