Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has called out referee, Martínez Munuera for not awarding a penalty for a foul on Vinicius Junior during his side’s LaLiga 3-3 draw against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
Vinicius was clearly brought down inside the penalty area by Muminin in the second half.
But referee Munuera did not award a penalty, nor was there any warning from González Fuertes, the VAR referee.
Speaking at his post-match interview, Ancelotti said: “The penalty seemed very clear to me.
He added, “Vini Jr. didn’t start because he had played 90 minutes in the Champions League and after his injury we wanted him to play in the second half, where there was a bit less intensity.
“Vini did well, he played well and had chances to score. He played a good game.”
Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo scored the goals for Real Madrid against the hosts.
