Patrice Evra, a former Manchester United vice-captain, has insisted that the club’s former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, was “evil” over his management methods at Old Trafford.
According to Evra, the Scottish would be in prison in today’s world for his coaching tactics.
Ferguson is widely regarded as one of the most successful coaches in the game.
But the 83-year-old had a strong approach to his coaching tactics during his managerial career.
He was the Man United manager from 1986 to 2013, winning thirteen Premier League titles.
Speaking about Ferguson’s tenure at Old Trafford, Evra told the SDS podcast (via Daily Mail): “If Ferguson was coaching right now, he would probably end up in jail.
“There is no way Ferguson would not be in jail with what he would do to.”
“Do you know how many players I saw cry because he gave them the hairdryer, throwing boots – he was evil,” the former France international added.
