The Naira appreciated massively against the dollar at the foreign exchange market to end the week on a good note.
FMDQ data showed that the Naira gained further at N 1,546.41 against the dollar on Friday from N1649.79 exchanged the previous day.
This represents a significant N103.38 gain against the dollar compared to the N1649.79 exchanged on Thursday.
Meanwhile, in the black market, the Naira depreciated by N10 to N1,665 per dollar on Friday from N1,655 traded the previous day.
The country’s currency had continued to experience fluctuations despite the interventions of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
In the week under review, the Naira recorded both gains and losses.
