Nigerian TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has shared marital advice ahead of her white wedding with fellow TikTok star Peller.
The TikTok influencer urged Nigerian youths not to allow themselves to be pressured into marriage until they are financially stable.
Jarvis advised those who are planning to get married to spread their traditional and white weddings across different years to minimise expenses.
Speaking in a recent livestream, Jarvis said, “If you don’t have money, don’t get married. Don’t try it, I beg you.
“But if you are planning to get married, you can share it by doing a traditional wedding this year and doing a white wedding the next year.
“We almost postponed our wedding, but even if we put it in the next 50 years, we are never going to prepare for the wedding.”
Peller and Jarvis recently announced that their white wedding will be held on August 1, 2026.
The couple had their traditional wedding in Benin City, Edo State, last month.
