PSG star, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, has named his football idol.
The Georgia International spoke highly of football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, and could not hide his administration for the 40-year-old.
The Georgian forward said he mirrors the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus superstar’s professionalism.
The winger stated this during an interview with former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, on the Englishman’s YouTube channel, Rio Ferdinand Presents.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia said he often watched the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner while growing up, modelling his football style after him.
On what he learnt from watching the legendary Portuguese, the Georgian said, “I think professionalism. He was the main character for me because everyone knows he is one of the best players in history.
“But the way he lives is what I took and learned from him, and many things but the professionalism off the field was the main thing.”
Kvaratskhelia played a key role in Napoli’s league title win in 2023 and became the Serie A player of the 2023-24 season.
He left Napoli and joined PSG in January 2025 and will be playing in the Champions League final against Inter Milan next Saturday.
He has already won the Ligue1 title this season.
