Atletico Madrid remain very keen to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta and have matched Fenerbache’s bid for the Super Eagles winger.
The LaLiga side have now upped their bid to €40million, in a bid to land Lookman this January window.
This was revealed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Saturday night.
Romano wrote on X: “Atlético Madrid have matched Fenerbahçe’s proposal for Ademola Lookman: €40m package agreed with Atalanta.
“Fenerbahçe have still not agreed on payment terms and bank guarantees, Atléti are ready.
“Salary proposal to Lookman from Atléti has also been improved.”
