The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has suggested why the US President Donald Trump named Nigeria a “disgraceful country”.Trump had, in a statement on Saturday, warned that if the Nigerian government failed to tackle the alleged genocide against Christians, the US would “immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria and may very well go into that now disgraced country” to wipe out the terrorists allegedly perpetrating the religious persecution.Reacting, ADC in a post on the official X account of the party’s coalition mobilisation wing, ADC Vanguard, claimed that such a remark is because Trump knows that the “man in charge” has buried files with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI.According to ADC, Nigerians are paying the “price of shame” due to the activities of bad leaders.The post reads, “Trump’s ‘disgraceful country’ remark didn’t come from nowhere.“He knows the man in charge has a past buried in FBI files.
